Miss MarionMiss Marion Court Celebrated our Nation's Birthday!

Miss Marion Kimberly Rennspies and Duchess Emily Grobe, along with Marion Chamber members Pat and Marie Paiz, represented our town on the Marion-opoly float in the Seguin 4th of July Parade on Saturday, July 3rd.   The court showed their patriotism dressed in red, white, and blue.  They completed the Marion-opoly theme with suspenders and train engineer caps. Thanks to Chris Valle, Tejas Outfitters, for the engineer caps.

GVEC Member Information Committee Update

Dear MIC Member,

With 2009 well underway, I would like to take the time to share some exciting changes that are taking place at GVEC.  Already this year, wind turbine pilot projects have launched at the Ag Heritage Museum and our new Seguin office, there has been a revision to our Residential Renewable Generating Tariff, and we have made significant progress towards the opening of our new Seguin Office Complex.  Read More...
