What is a Build Brigade? We will be in Marion, TX, for a 3 day Homes for Our Troops event where hundreds of professional volunteers will erect three homes starting with the bare foundation on the first day. By the end of the last day, we have interior walls framed, windows installed, doors hung and the roof shingled!
After the Build Brigade the house is a weather tight shell. We will then start the interior work and move towards completing the special homes for the SGT Hunt, Cpl Perez and Cpl Frustaglio families! www.homesforourtroops.org/tx

GVEC Member Information Committee Update

Dear MIC Member,

With 2009 well underway, I would like to take the time to share some exciting changes that are taking place at GVEC.  Already this year, wind turbine pilot projects have launched at the Ag Heritage Museum and our new Seguin office, there has been a revision to our Residential Renewable Generating Tariff, and we have made significant progress towards the opening of our new Seguin Office Complex.  Read More...
